- If you want to have a different hair color for your wedding day, test it a month or more before. This will give you enough time to decide if you like it and, in some cases, find a new hair color to wear on your wedding day.
- Be sure to decide if you want an updo or down do first. After you have decided, choose several different options that you may want to consider. It’s a good idea to try them out before the actual wedding day.
- It is a good idea to stick to your hair type. For example, if you have naturally curly hair, you probably would not want to choose a hairstyle that is meant for people with very straight hair. If you decide to do this, it is always good to have a backup plan on hand. You never know when your hair might not want to work with the stylist.
- Although you will want to stick with something that will work on your hair type, you may want to wear an elegant updo hairstyle on your wedding day if you frequently wear your hair down or vice versa. It is meant to be a special day and you will want to look special on it.
